Testing & Verification
What testing does every batch undergo?
Every batch is analyzed by Vanguard Laboratory, an ISO/IEC 17025:2017-accredited, A2LA-certified U.S. laboratory (Certificate #6377.01.01). The panel covers purity by HPLC, identity confirmation by LC-MS, heavy metals by ICP-MS, plus sterility and bacterial endotoxin (LAL) screening. A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis is issued for each lot.
How do I verify a Certificate of Analysis?
Each vial carries a QR code linked to its batch-specific COA, hosted on Vanguard’s own servers. Scan it, confirm the page loads from vanguardlaboratory.com, and confirm the batch number on the report matches the batch number on your vial. Because the certificate is hosted by the accredited lab rather than by us, it can be verified independently. Full detail is on our COA / Testing page.
Can I view a COA before I purchase?
Yes. Each product links to its current batch COA so you can review the analytical data — HPLC purity and LC-MS identity — before ordering. The same certificate is verifiable by the QR code on the vial you receive, so what you review is what you get.
What does the 99%+ purity threshold actually mean?
Purity is the percentage of the sample that is the target compound, measured by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). We list a batch only if it measures 99% or higher, and we publish the measured result — not a rounded or target number. If a batch comes back below threshold, it is refused and never sold.
What is tested besides purity?
Identity (LC-MS confirms the compound matches its labeled sequence), heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, mercury, and lead (ICP-MS), sterility (bacterial and fungal contamination), and bacterial endotoxins (LAL). Purity testing alone cannot detect any of these.
Why independent testing instead of in-house?
An independent, accredited laboratory is paid to measure accurately — not to produce a favorable number. That independence is what makes a COA meaningful: it is the laboratory’s documented result, not our claim about our own product.
Research Use & Eligibility
What does “Research Use Only” mean?
All products are sold strictly as research compounds for in-vitro laboratory and educational research. They are not drugs, supplements, foods, cosmetics, or medical devices; they have not been evaluated by the FDA; and they are not for human or veterinary use. Acknowledgment of these terms is required at checkout. See our Research Use Only Policy.
Who is eligible to purchase?
You must be at least 21 years old and a qualified researcher — or purchasing on behalf of a research institution or business engaged in legitimate scientific research. These terms are confirmed at checkout, and we may verify the information provided.
Are these products safe for human or animal use?
No. Our products are for laboratory research only and are not intended for human or veterinary consumption, ingestion, or any in-vivo use of any kind.
Orders, Shipping & Fulfillment
Where do you ship?
Within the United States only. We do not ship internationally at this time; non-U.S. orders are not accepted and are refunded.
How quickly are orders processed?
Orders are typically prepared for shipment within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed and any required verification is complete. Orders are not processed on weekends or U.S. holidays.
How are orders shipped and tracked?
Orders ship via major U.S. carriers, and a tracking number is emailed to you once your order ships. Please allow up to 24 hours after shipment for tracking to update with the carrier. Full terms are in our Shipping & Returns policy.
Does transit time or temperature affect the material?
Our compounds ship as lyophilized (freeze-dried) material, which is stable and tolerant of the short-term temperature variation that occurs during normal transit.
Do you sell bacteriostatic water or syringes?
We offer a research-grade reconstitution solution for dissolving lyophilized compounds to a working concentration. We do not sell syringes or other injection supplies — those are widely available from dedicated laboratory suppliers. This keeps our catalog squarely within research-supply scope.
Storage & Handling
How should research material be stored?
Lyophilized (unreconstituted) material is best kept frozen for long-term stability. Once reconstituted, it should be refrigerated. Keep material away from light and follow standard laboratory handling practices.
What is bacteriostatic water?
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, an antimicrobial preservative. In research settings it is used to reconstitute lyophilized compounds; the preservative inhibits microbial growth, which supports the integrity of a multi-draw vial over a working period. (We do not sell it — see the shipping section.)
How is the material reconstituted?
Reconstitution is done with bacteriostatic water to reach the working concentration a given study calls for. Our reconstitution calculator helps you determine the volume to add for a target working amount.
How long is reconstituted material stable?
Once reconstituted, material should be refrigerated and used within the working window appropriate to the compound and protocol. For longer-term storage, standard laboratory practice is to prepare small aliquots and freeze them, minimizing repeated freeze–thaw cycles. Always follow the handling protocol relevant to your specific study.
Payments & Billing
How does payment work?
Checkout runs over an encrypted connection, and payments are handled by a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor — we never store full card or bank details on our systems. You are charged once per order; we do not offer subscriptions or recurring billing.
Do you offer bulk or volume discounts?
Yes. Volume pricing is available on many products at the 5-vial and 10-vial tiers, with the per-vial price dropping as quantity increases. Pricing is shown on the product page.
What will appear on my statement?
Charges appear on your card or bank statement as TITANBORN RESEARCH, so the transaction is easy to recognize.
Are prices in U.S. dollars?
Yes. All prices are shown in U.S. dollars (USD), and the full total — products, shipping, and any applicable tax — is displayed before you confirm your order.
Returns & Order Issues
What is your return policy?
Because these are research compounds whose storage and handling cannot be verified once they leave our facility, all products are final sale and non-returnable. Please review your order carefully before checkout. See our Shipping & Returns policy.
What if my order arrives damaged, wrong, or doesn’t arrive?
Contact us at support@titanbornresearch.com within 3 business days of delivery (or expected delivery) with your order number — and photos of the package and contents for damage. Where we confirm an error or defect, we will reship the correct item or issue a refund.
I have a billing question or dispute — what should I do?
Contact us first at legal@titanbornresearch.com. Nearly every billing or delivery issue is resolved faster and more directly than through a formal dispute. See our Chargeback & Dispute Policy.
